01 — THE CONCEPT
What happens when you make yourself try something new?
The Jesse Projects began as a personal filmmaking series built around a simple idea: go out and experience something new.
Project 001 started with 4DX — taking an ordinary trip to the movies and documenting what it felt like to experience a film in a completely different way.
02 — THE FILM
Project 001.
03 — STORYTELLING
Turning an experience into a story.
I approached the project as a short-form film. Voiceover provides the narrative while cinematography, pacing, music, and editing build the feeling of actually being there.
04 — BEHIND THE PROJECT
From idea to final frame.
I developed the concept, filmed the experience, wrote and recorded the voiceover, and shaped the final story in the edit.
